Hello there, and thank you for viewing my portfolio!
I’m Christopher; an early-career Game Writer, Narrative Designer, and Game Designer from the frigid, rain-soaked moorlands of North Yorkshire in England. I escaped the bitter cold of my homeland, once, for a lengthy fourteen year sojourn to France (Bonjour à tous!), where I worked for Blizzard Entertainment and began a journey upon my current career path.
In my free time I’m an avid gamer, as most Game Writers and Designers are, with an eclectic taste in all genres. I primarily play MMORPGs and CRPGs, however I can just as easily be swayed to play anything. I’m equally at home running around vast online worlds mining ore, battling through cramped FPS warzones, or relaxing with a cozy farming sim!
Outside of video games I’m an avid reader and book collector (hoarder?), with a focus on Mythology, Ancient History, the Unexplained, and the Mysterious. When I’m not hunched over my desk like some entombed Lich, you can often find me out and about in the surrounding area hunting for new volumes to add to my ever growing collection.

Current Stance on A.I. →
Current Stance on A.I.
I have mixed feelings about A.I., and I’m sure a lot of other people do too. There are a lot of people who try and Black & White the situation, but it’s not that simple.
On the one hand it can do wonders with Productivity and Administrative tasks, yet on the other “Generate” things in seconds that would take a Human hours, days, or longer (I refuse to call it “Creation”).
I will NOT:
- Generate A.I. Text or Images and call it my own WORK. (Differentiating using A.I. as “tools” in writing and art versus using it to “DO” the work itself is important).
I WILL:
- Use A.I. as a Tool when necessary, and within reason.
- Use A.I. Images sourced online if they fit my needs (with disclosure that I believe/know the images to be A.I. generated).
- Generate non-essential, yet useful, images that I require (for example; Backgrounds for Slides, or quick Mock-Ups of things that are not readily available to non-artistic monkeys like myself).
