Smaller Portfolio Pieces
Post-Apocalyptic Character Design: Tucker
Designed a character that would fit into any standard post-apocalyptic setting with very little tweaking required. To do this, I did the following:
- Researched post-apocalyptic games, movies, and television shows to find out the general design themes and tropes.
- Wrote the character bio and dialogue snippet while keeping their design, combat function, and personality in mind.
- Supported a potential combat designer who’d be making the character by designing unique weapons, as well as naming and describing those weapons.
Sins of the Father - Chapter 1 (Narrative Fiction)
Wrote a short piece of Urban Fantasy Narrative Fiction that can stand as a Chapter One of a Novel or Novella:
- The Paranormal exists in this world, and most of the main cast of characters are some flavour of paranormal entity; including things like Angels and Demons, to Sin Eaters and Mages.
- The story primarily follows the exploits of the Supernatural Crime Division based in London, England.
- This first chapter went through three rewrites before I considered it finished (though as with everything else, more rewrites can be done on a whim!).
